If you want your furniture company to stand out from the competition on Pinterest, it all starts by pinning great visual content that people will share. The more users share your pins, the more success you’ll have on Pinterest.

If you’re ready to find out the secret to a great pin, here are five must-have elements.
1). A Great Image
It all starts by finding a great image. You want to select an image that grabs the attention of Pinterest users. For furniture companies, consider images that show your products staged or in use.
2). A Well Written Description
In your description, you want to include important keywords, so people can find your pins. Use important keywords at the beginning of the description. See how the keywords in the example above in red.
3). Include Prices
If it’s a product that you’re selling, include the price in the description. By doing this, a price banner will appear at top left corner of the pin. It’s an excellent way to show special pricing on furniture and other items that you sell.
4). Call to Action
The whole point is to get the user to take some sort of action. Call to actions might include asking for engagement (like, repin, comment). Other times, the call to action might drive the user to a landing page on your website like in the above example.
5). Landing Page Link
A link to your website in the pin, helps drive traffic. You should include a link preferably to a product page that has more details about the piece of furniture that you have just pinned on Pinterest. Notice the above example.
